"Over the years, I have met with Dr. Budwig and her patients various possibilities of the transition
days. Also in their books you will find various instructions. Below I would like to show you the 3 most
important instructions for transitional days. The basic principle is that for 3 days nothing is eaten and
drunk except the following written and at least three times daily warm tea (herbal teas from pepper-
mint, rose hip, mallow or green tea) is drunk.
I have also experienced frequently that patients mixed all three variants and "nevertheless" had
good results. Nevertheless, I recommend you to stick to one variant. Roughly speaking, one could
also say that Dr. Budwig has recommended variant 1 patients with a relatively good energy state,
and variant 2 and 3 mainly seriously ill patients.
Variant 1
For three days, 250 g of linomel or alternatively freshly crushed flaxseed is eaten together with the
following juices:
• Freshly pressed fruit juices or fruit juices without added sugar.
• Freshly pressed vegetable juices such as carrot, celery juice, red
beetroots and apple juice.
• Chinese tea and black tea are allowed in the morning
• Honey for sweetening is allowed. Just as grape juice for drinking and sweet.
• Energetically weak patients can also consume sparkling wine and
linomel.
Variant 2
For three days, mousse mash with linomel mucus (see recipes for the baby) is eaten daily with the
following juices:
• Freshly pressed fruit juices or fruit juices without added sugar.
• Freshly pressed vegetable juices such as carrot, celery juice,
beetroot and apple juice.
• Chinese tea and black tea are allowed in the morning.
• Honey for sweetening is allowed. Just as grape juice for drinking and sweet.
• Energetically weak patients can also consume sparkling wine and
linomel.
Variant 3
For three days, oatmeal soup with linomel is given three times a day together with the following

uices:
• Freshly pressed fruit juices or fruit juices without added sugar.
• Freshly pressed vegetable juices such as carrot, celery juice,
beetroot and apple juice.
• Chinese tea and black tea are allowed in the morning.
• Honey for sweetening is allowed. Just as grape juice for drinking and sweet.
• Energetically weak patients can also consume sparkling wine and
linomel.
NOTE: Please make the transition days. Otherwise you will have too many challenges with the colon,
especially with bacteria’s and winds.
A normal day:07:00 1 glass of sauerkraut juice (100ml - 200ml)In the literature with Dr Budwig you can also sometimes read that one could drink sour milk instead
of sauerkraut juice. When I became acquainted with Dr. Budwig, she gave this recommendation no
longer, but exclusively sauerkraut juice.
Note: If you have challenges with drinking sauerkraut juice please only reduce the amount, do not
stop it.
07:05 ELDI oilsMassages or rubbings of the whole body allow the absorption of the oils on the skin over a large
area. For this purpose, the whole body, with the exception of the head, is rubbed immediately after
waking up, and it is additionally massaged. ELDI R, but also ELDI Rose can be used for this purpose.
Then you rest and wait about 15 minutes. If you have a partner, you should rub the ELDI oil into the
muscles on the left and right of the spine.
After that, you take a shower and start with hot water, so that the skin pores open up. The soap
consists of a skin-friendly soap. Dr Budwig generally advocated mares milk soap.
07:20 Hot and cold showersFrom an energetic point of view, of course, an increased blood flow especially of the capillary vessels
after the rubbing in ELDI oils is very useful, so that the added energy can be better absorbed or flo-
wed. My experience with many of Budwig’s patients or cancer patients in general, however, shows
that many patients cannot or do not want to take a cold shower.
08:00 Tea with breakfast cerealThere is basically no prescription regarding the types of tea and also not whether the tea is to be
drunk to or after the muesli. If you drink your tea with honey, I recommend that you first take 2-3
spoons of breakfast cereal and then drink the sweetened tea. In addition, a glass of sparkling wine
with linomel (or flaxseeds) can be served for breakfast.
The breakfast muesli!This is THE ONLY recipe. If it’s not this, it’s not from Dr. Budwig. I
mention this because on the internet are terrible explanations who
can’t work. F. e. if you DO NOT mix first milk and flaxseed oil (and
honey) together you do not have the correct (hydrogen bonded)
mixture to create a stabile lipoprotein together with the quark / cot-
tage cheese which you need. I know that most English-speaking
people are just mixing oil and cottage cheese together and therefore
it can’t work. And even worse some are adding f.e. water to it. This
will totally destabilize the whole thing!
Note:
Milk must be whole fat (appr. 3,5%) and the quark low fat. When you add fruits, please make
sure that you FIRST eat 2-3 tablespoon of the mixture BEFORE you eat any fruits! Don`t worry what
you did read about milk. Use only organic and after it is mixed as a lipoprotein it works 100% different
in your body like if you would drink milk. Drinking milk is not allowed in the Oil-Protein Diet but you
need milk to create the lipoprotein!
The Original recipe:Place 2 tablespoons Linomel (= mixture of flaxseed oil, honey and milk powder – use instead only
fresh crushed flaxseeds or NOTHING) in a small bowl. It is covered with raw, crushed fruit depending
on the season. Then the Quark-Flaxseed oil cream is prepared in the blender as follows:
First add flaxseed oil, milk and honey in the blender, then gradually add the quark in smaller portions.
When the total mass is well homogenized, it is seasoned differently everyday with different flavorings
such as vanilla, cinnamon or various fruits such as banana and lemon, orange juice, or berries.
